At WAC School of Nursing, we are teaching the next generation of professionals in nursing, through a supportive and friendly bilateral interaction.

A career in nursing will enable you to work in an environment which is interesting, rewarding and challenging. Nurses are the most actively sought group of staff (throughout United States) and work in a variety of healthcare settings from accident and emergency to patients' homes.

Our impressive research portfolio means you will learn from academics who are directly involved in influencing the quality of healthcare. You will learn alongside students from many other disciplines in the health sciences to gain a thorough knowledge of healthcare.

Our new nursing Degree Programs are leading the way in future training and are skillfully designed to prepare nurses to lead discovery through research based training, challenge practice and create change through innovation.

We believe that our Nursing program is based on the intelligent compassion and sensitive care of the people/patients they deal with. Students will be expected to focus on their attitudes, beliefs, values and professionalism, from the outset, to ensure that patients/clients receive the high quality care they need.

Key characteristics of the program include the focus on research based learning, the development of graduate attributes, grading of practice, the joined-up inter-professional approach to shared learning, between nurses, midwives and their physiotherapy, occupational therapy and podiatry colleagues and, in the masters programs and the use of guided discovery learning.

Employers appreciate WAC nursing graduates. In 2010, 98% of our graduates found work or went into further study. Many of our former students are now in senior positions at reputable healthcare organizations.
